O-Blood (May)

An even paper cut may draw blood. Red line lengthens on finger, the offending page forgot. An involuntary O. Instant, how red rushes into outside world. Came a time you had to figure it for yourself. Sttoooooooooooooooooppppppp! If red gets out of hand, gash, wound, shock increases. A doctor’s needed, their charts of noughts-and-crosses true to type. Figure of the body is a course in blood. Are you O, B, A? What if it keeps going? What’s O then? Mess everywhere. Colour drains from the face. Return to the void, O closed over. A spear in the side’ll do it.
